Withdrawal fees, minimums and the ceiling nobody mentions

One book in this market charges a percentage to withdraw. The rest do not, and the ceiling that actually catches a big win is set by the central bank rather than any of them.

Withdrawal fees are close to absent here, which makes the exception worth naming. One operator publishes a percentage charge on its own page while keeping deposits free, and several third-party pages state the opposite, so the operator’s own page is what this site follows.

Minimums are messier. There is no industry figure and the ones published run from a cedi to ten depending on the book, which means a small balance can be stranded at one operator and perfectly withdrawable at another. Where a book publishes nothing, this site prints nothing rather than borrowing a number from a comparison table.

The ceiling is the part almost nobody covers. Mobile money wallets in Ghana are tiered by how much identification the account was registered with, and the lowest tier caps what can be received in a day and in a month. A large payout into a lightly registered wallet does not arrive in one piece, and splitting it across days does not get around a monthly cap: the only route is a bank transfer or a better-registered wallet.

None of these is a margin, and all of them are costs. A fee is money, a minimum is money you cannot reach, and a ceiling is time.

Questions this page gets asked

Which book charges to withdraw?

It is named on the deposits pages and on its own review, along with the operator page the figure comes from. This site follows the operator over the comparison sites, which say the opposite.

How do I raise a wallet ceiling?

By registering the wallet with more identification, which is the only thing that lifts it. The daily figure rises at the middle level and the monthly cap disappears entirely above the lowest one.
