wallet rail
Telecel Cash
The second wallet, under a name half the market has not caught up with.
How it behaves at a cashier
Functionally the same as the largest wallet at the same bookmaker, with the same timings and the same free deposits where a position is published. Books that take one take the other.
What catches people
The name. This wallet was rebranded in 2024 and a great deal of published material, including pages purporting to describe individual bookmakers, still uses the old one. Anybody comparing a cashier against an affiliate page should expect the two to disagree about what the option is called rather than about what it does.
Why it is on a site about prices
Worth knowing at one book in particular, which routes deposits on this wallet through a voucher code rather than a direct prompt. That is one step more than the largest wallet, and it is the only structural difference between the two anywhere in this market.

Where a cell says the figure is not stated, the operator does not publish it. Nothing in this table is filled in from a third party, because the third-party figures for this market contradict each other and several of them were written about other countries.
The ceiling this rail runs into
The ceiling on a large payout belongs to the wallet rather than to the bookmaker, and it depends on how much identification the wallet was registered with. At the lowest level a wallet cannot receive more than GH₵3,000 in a day or GH₵10,000 in a month, and cannot hold more than GH₵5,000 at once. The monthly figure is the one that binds: splitting a big win across consecutive days does not get past it, and the only thing that removes it is registering the wallet at a higher level, where no monthly limit applies at all. The fully registered ceiling is GH₵25,000 a day against a balance of GH₵75,000.
| Wallet | In a day | In a month | Held at once |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum KYC | GH₵3,000 | GH₵10,000 | GH₵5,000 |
| Medium KYC | GH₵15,000 | no limit | GH₵40,000 |
| Enhanced KYC | GH₵25,000 | no limit | GH₵75,000 |
Set by the Bank of Ghana, in force since 2024-03-01. These are the numbers a large payout meets first, and no bookmaker on this board can lift them.
Questions this page gets asked
Which Ghanaian bookmakers take Telecel Cash?
SportyBet, Betway, Premier Bet, BetFox, MSport, Bangbet, betPawa and Soccabet name it in their own cashier. Books whose cashier could not be read are not counted here either way.
What does Telecel Cash cost?
free where published on the bookmaker's side. Nothing is stated here about what the network itself charges, because none of the three networks publishes a tariff anybody could verify and every figure in circulation traces to an aggregator.
How fast is Telecel Cash?
Bookmakers state it as same as MoMo at the same operator. That is their wording, not a measurement: no withdrawal on this rail has been timed by anybody at this desk.
